Claudia Moulin


Claudia Moulin was born in Luxembourg and started her vocal studies at the Conservatory in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) with Mariette Kemmer. In 2007, she won a vocal scholarship of the Yamaha Foundation and in 2009 the Prix Lyrique du Cercle Carpeaux of the Opéra national de Paris. From 2007 to 2009, she was a member of the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra national de Paris, singing many roles conducted by Gustav Kuhn and Daniel Oren.

From 2011 onwards she sung in venues like the Opéra national de Paris, the Opéra-Théâtre de Metz, the Opéra national de Lorraine in Nancy, the Palais Garnier, the French National Library, the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet and the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, the Villa Médici in Rome, the Théâtre Roger Barat in Herblay, the Opéra de Fribourg Théâtre Equilibre in Switzerland, the Philharmonie and Neimënster in Luxembourg. She also toured with a recital in the U.S. in venues such as the Carnegie Hall – New York and the San Francisco Community Music Centre and in Washington, D.C.

She recently recorded her first album entitled „Richard Strauss, Echoes through Space and Time“ on the American label Odradek Records. The disc, featuring Lieder repertoire, explores the legacy of Richard Strauss and it was released in autumn 2017.
